WHAT ANIMAL SHOULD HAVE ...

The following combinations have been found to be effective when the client or animal has the following conditions. These are only recommendations, not prescriptions. Whatever you do, do not, I repeat, DO NOT GO OFF YOUR MEDICATIONS WITHOUT YOUR DOCTOR'S ADVICE. The supplements are not to replace medications, but as they help to rebuild the body, we often find the need for medications disappears or the amount needed decreases.

                      CLEANSE AND REBUILD FOR PETS

Because of the wide variety of sizes within the animal kingdom it is nearly impossible to give exact dosages and charts such as we do for people on the blue sheets.  For that reason, I am only giving directions for animals that are between 50 and 100 pounds.  For animals that are smaller or larger, please adjust the dosage accordingly, but follow the basic chart plan.  The products are also available in powders that are quite palatable to most animals, especially the vitamins, that are chicken flavored.  With powders you will get much more for your money since you are not paying for the encapsulating process.  Most powder containers also list dosage by weight, but for clarity, the directions below are listed in capsules.  To convert to powder, three capsules equal one teaspoon of powder.  For the Herbal Extract, (which I am told, tastes wonderful in vanilla yogurt for people or pets) please follow the instructions until you reach the maximum doses listed on page 6 of the Herbal Extract booklet.  This is a guideline.  If your pet starts to vomit, stop for a day or two and then start again at a lower dose, working back up slowly to full dose.   Always be sure this product is given with food or in some milk product.  When mixed in milk for cats that can tolerate milk, (if they can’t, you may want to try goats milk or soy milk), it usually makes it easier for them to keep it down.  If they won’t drink it, then you will have to syringe it in by tipping their head back and squirting it slowly into the corner of the mouth or cheek.  For pills, you can purchase a pill popper from most pet stores or veterinarians. 

The program for pets is essentially the same as outlined for people since most mammals basically function the same way.  All animals and people have several things in common when suffering from major diseases.

STEP 1:  First they have damaged livers which must be cleaned and restored to full function so that whatever they consume can be processed by the body, converting it into living cells the body can use to repair itself.  The liver also cleans the blood to remove the waste of the dying disease.  On our Liver/Gall Bladder formula, we have seen the Biliruben go back to normal, even when the patient suffers from liver cancer. 

STEP 2:  Secondly, you must be sure they are clear of parasites.  As long as the immune system is compromised, as it is with any major disease or by over vaccinating, they cannot throw off parasites.  By clearing the system of them, the pet gets the nutrient, not the parasites.  When step one and two are in motion, you will usually see their appetites improve. 

STEP 3:  Now you must rebuild the immune system, ie: the thymus gland which converts the T cells that eat cancer, skin eruptions, tumors and TB.  It is destroyed by the K-9 Parvo vaccine (the original cat vaccine, Panleukapenia gives full immunity to Parvo, but doesn’t destroy the thymus gland) and the Rhino Vaccine destroys the horses’ Thymus gland.   Once the Immune system is back to normal, the animal doesn’t even develop fatty tumors anymore.  Since cancer is a loss of the Immune system, it can break out anywhere until the Immune system is restored.  The Immune Formula doesn’t just restore the Thymus gland, but also cleans out the lymph glands, allowing the body to dump waste through the kidneys.  The only pump the lymph glands have is exercise, so keep them moving.  This will help the immune formula work better and with the help of the liver formula cleaning the blood, the animal will detoxify faster.  It is important at all times, during their treatment, to get them to drink as much fresh water as possible to aid this whole detoxification process. 

STEP 4: With the Herbal Extract, we now kill off cancers and viruses wherever they are in the body. 

         WHAT TO TAKE GIVE YOUR ANIMAL AND WHEN TO GIVE IT

       Doses can be given all at once or one half in the am and one half in the pm.

DAY ONE THROUGH DAY FOUR

One Liver/GB capsule per day.   At least one teaspoon of Senior Vitamins for any age.

DAY FIVE THROUGH DAY TEN

One Liver, Two Noni, One Immune, One Tablespoon of Copper, and at least one teaspoon of  Senior Vitamins

DAY ELEVEN THROUGH DAY FIFTEEN

One Liver, Two Noni, Two Immune, One Tablespoon of Copper, One Drop of Herbal Extract and at least one teaspoon of  Senior Vitamins.

DAY SIXTEEN THROUGH DAY TWENTY

One Liver, Two Noni, Three Immune, One Tablespoon of Copper, Two Drops of Herbal Extract and at least one teaspoon of Senior Vitamins

DAY TWENTY ONE THROUGH DAY TWENTY FIVE

One Liver, Two Noni, Three Immune, One Tablespoon of Copper, Three Drops of Herbal Extract and at least one teaspoon of Senior vitamins.

DAY TWENTY SIX THROUGH THIRTY

One Liver, Two Noni, Three Immune, One Tablespoon of Copper, Four Drops of Herbal Extract and at least one teaspoon of Senior vitamins. 

Continue on in this pattern with all of the products except the Herbal Extract.  You will need to continue to increase that, one drop per day, every 5 days, until you reach the recommended dose listed on page 6 in the Blue and White Herbal Extract booklet.  Continue on the full program for three months after the animal is declared well by their doctor.  This way we are sure to get any stray cells of disease and have plenty of time to rebuild the immune system.  In case cancer is present and advanced, then you can build up to a higher dose, but if the animal starts vomiting it says that it can’t handle that much, so  you will need to cut back to a lower dose. ALWAYS GIVE THE HERBAL EXTRACT WITH FOOD OR IN VANILLA YOGURT WHICH MAKES IT MORE PALATABLE, NOT ON AN EMPTY STOMACH AS IT COULD ALSO CAUSE STOMACH UPSET, EVEN VOMITING.       

For topical use of Herbal Extract on warts, sebaceous cysts and tumors that are on the surface, you can start on day one, but wait to begin internal use of the Herbal Extract until the day indicated in the instructions.    Most warts, etc. will scab up and peel off within 4 or 5 days.  Remove them as they do not bleed, but do not force them off. Pull gently and if it is ready, it will just come off.  If they get pussy, it means they have deep roots and may take longer to get them off.  This is dead tissue you are seeing, not infection, so an antibiotic won’t touch it or help at all.  Do not be surprised when you see the tumor swell, get red and very sore.  This is normal.   It is dying and trying to let go of the healthy tissue around it.  Sometimes it is helpful to administer a pain killer (no aspirin for cats as it causes internal bleeding).   Ask your veterinarian for help if aspirin doesn’t work.

If the animal has DEGENERATIVE MYELOPATHY, (it is the same disease as MS in people and follows the same pattern of degeneration, but is painless in the animals).   Add the Nerve and Muscle Formula to the cleanse and rebuild program, three to four capsules, twice a day, beginning on day one and continuing throughout the treatment.  Most dogs hate the taste of it and won’t eat it in the powder form.  This disease is usually an inherited tendency in many of the larger breeds such as German Shepherds that has distinct symptoms, different from any other problem I have ever seen.                                               CLEANING TEETH

There are a lot of wonderful dog and cat toothpastes on the market today.  You can also wet a cloth and dip it in baking soda and rub that on the teeth to help clean them.  Dirty teeth and/or digestion problems cause the animal to have bad breath and inflamed gums.  If the animal is older, we usually avoid having their teeth cleaned because the anesthesia is so hard on them.  If you do clean the teeth of the older animal, you must put them on antibiotics for a few days because there is a Bacterium that is released from the teeth that can travel directly to the heart and cause a heart attack.  Many times the older animal comes through the anesthesia and surgery fine, but often dies several days later because of the trauma to the system from the surgery or anesthesia.  The older animal just can’t handle it.  If the cleaning or surgery cannot be avoided, you can help them by building them up for two or three days before the procedure with Vitamin C (promotes healing and reduces inflammation), vitamin E, and the Homeopathic Arnica. Yunnan Paiyao will also prevent excessive bleeding.  Follow this same protocol for about three to five days after surgery too.  They should come out of the anesthesia faster and safer. 

                                                   CAT PROBLEMS

Vomiting in cats within a short time after eating, is common for Siamese or Siamese mix.  There is nothing you can do to stop it and they are not sick.  Their stomachs don’t stretch properly so that when they eat, the stomach hurts and they regurgitate.  Now the stomach is stretched, so they can go back and eat another meal and keep it down.  With cats like this, it is best to feed them smaller meals, more often.  If you have an overweight problem because your cat eats too much, try adding a little bit of cod liver oil (not mineral oil as it is tasteless because some cats have been known to inhale some of it causing damage to the lungs) and a higher meat content such as raw chicken necks (satisfies their desire to hunt too) raw beef kidney (helps repair their kidneys, keeping them healthier) or just plain meat of most any kind.  When they don’t get enough of good, assimilatable protein, they feel hungry even after they eat and keep going back for more and more food, getting too fat.  This condition reacts in cats as eating too much carbohydrates and sugars do in people who are hypoglycemic. 

When you have a cat with urinary problems where they are drinking great amounts of water and urinating frequently, be sure to add pediolytes or a little bit of the original flavor of Gatorade, to their water.  If they drink large amounts of plain water, it could pull the cell salts from the body tissue to maintain a balance in the bloodstream which results in dehydration.  Adding the electrolytes will help prevent this. 

Be careful about the litter pan ingredients that have green pellets in them.  Because these contain chlorophyll, they often give off an offensive odor to cats when their urine hits it.  Use clumping litter with caution.  There have been cases where it has clung to the cats paws when they leave the box.  As they clean their feet, they ingest some of it and once it gets into the moisture of the intestines, it swells and clumps there, blocking the intestines.  Be sure your cat is drinking plenty of liquids if you use it.  Plain clay or even better, sawdust, makes a wonderful litter.  It is cheaper, easy to dispose of as it becomes food for the ground as it disintegrates, and feels like the earth for the cat.  It also absorbs all odors.      

One more issue about cats. All cats, when they reach the age of 13 and up, begin to lose weight.  Dogs gain, cats become bone thin.  Until recently, we all felt it was normal, but in the past couple of years, they are testing thyroids and finding they are suffering from hyperthyroidism.  I can not believe that every cat in the United States develops an overactive thyroid, for no apparent reason.  Something is knocking out their immune systems and over stimulating the thyroid.   Information came to me recently and in discussing it with some holistic veterinarians, it is now believed that over vaccination is doing it.  It is believed that something in the distemper shot is causing this in the older adults when their immune systems become compromised the same way older people develop shingles from their chicken pox vaccine or from a herpes virus.

One other caution; we are seeing a lot of cancer develop in the sight where cats are given the Feline Infectious Peritonitis vaccination.  The Herbal Extract can kill viruses and has successfully cleared FIP in cats, so you may want to weigh the chances of your cat getting this disease verses the high risk of getting cancer from the shot especially since  there are alternatives available.      

 FELINE LEUKEMIA is often misdiagnosed.  When a cat is under stress, such as they experience by the trip to the vet, it causes the blood to pool in such a way that it causes a false reading that is very similar to that observed with feline Leukemia.   Even if the test is accurate and they do have Leukemia, we often see it corrected by giving them about 500 mg. of Vitamin C per day.  This same vitamin will clear up most respiratory problems in cats such as sneezing, runny eyes and nose, so common in kittens.

 RINGWORM: This is a fungus that is easily killed by diluting 1 part bleach in 10 parts of water and soaking the ringworm with it.  Let it dry and the bleach will evaporate, making it safe for anyone, even cats and children. 

FIP (FELINE INFECTIOUS PERITONITIS)

This is often killed by giving the cat 4 drops of LIVING FREE HERBAL EXTRACT per day.  To make it more palatable and prevent nausea or foaming at the mouth, you can put it in vanilla yogurt or add it to some milk and syringe it down if they don’t take it willingly.  If they get diarrhea from milk, try goat’s milk or soy milk.  NEVER GIVE HERBAL EXTRACT IN WATER because it makes them VERY nauseated.  The LUNG AND JOINT formula will help them breathe better and the Stabilized Oxygen (it is a molecule of oxygen bonded to a molecule of sodium which is released in the acid condition of the stomach where it is absorbed directly into the bloodstream), will help get their oxygen level up in the bloodstream, bypassing the congested lungs.

                                              SAFETY ISSUES

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE LYSOL OR PINESOL (a coal-tar derivative) AROUND ANIMALS.  It leaves a residue that sticks to their coats when they come in contact with the surfaces that contain it.  The animal grooms itself and ingests the residue and gets sick.  In some cases where we have seen Pinesol used, we have noticed many of them become so toxic, their personalities change and they become aggressive. When the surfaces are cleaned and the animals bathed to remove the residue, they go back to normal behavior.  It affects naturally more aggressive breeds more than others, but is possible in all animals.   THESE PRODUCTS ARE VERY TOXIC AND CAN EVEN KILL CATS, BIRDS AND SMALL ANIMALS.

Never bathe small animals or baby animals in dish soap.  It contains a product that is lethal to animals called ethyl alcohol. Bathe with pet shampoos as they are ph balanced to the animals, not to people.  Over bathing with any shampoo, strips the skin of its natural oils, leaving it open to bacterial infections or excessive itching from dry skin.    

When sterilizing surfaces, the best thing to add to your water is a little bleach.  It kills germs and viruses and will evaporate, but be sure there is plenty of air circulation because if not properly ventilated, chlorine can cause burning to the lung tissue.  If you have ever picked your dog up from a kennel and noticed a strong odor on its coat, it is caused from runs not being properly cleaned, allowing the dog to lie on it’s dried urine.  If dog runs are cleaned once or twice a week with bleach, you will not smell that strong odor on the animal’s coats.  To prevent this,   I pour bleach (which kills virus and bacterium on the surface, helping to prevent the spread of disease) across the run and hose it down with a LOT of water.  When dry, the bleach evaporates, so you can return the animals, but be sure it is very dry first.  If it isn’t, the bleach can burn their feet.

To clean drains that are clogged with pet hair, pour Dawn dish soap (contains lye) down the drain, add Clorox and hot, hot water.  As soon as you have poured this down the drain, get out of the area.  This will eat the hair and clean the pipes, but it is VERY toxic to everyone’s lungs, animal or human.  If breathed in, contact your physician immediately.

                        WHAT ANIMALS NEED TO TAKE

The following combinations have been found to be effective when the client or animal have the following conditions.  These are only recommendations, not prescriptions.  Whatever you do, do not, I repeat, DO NOT TAKE THE ANIMAL OFF ITS MEDICATIONS WITHOUT THE DOCTOR’S ADVICE.  The supplements are not to replace medications, but as they help to rebuild the body, we often find the need for medications disappears or the amount needed decreases.  The COMPLETE CLEANSE AND REBUILD PROGRAM is designed to take your animal slowly through a major cleanup of the system while giving the body the tools it needs to rebuild itself.  When we do this, we find most symptoms of major diseases simply disappear.  Since it takes a minimum of three months to begin to rebuild the body, we first recommend doing the full program mapped out on the green sheet.  Once we address the major cleanup and rebuilding, we can then determine what else we need to do to support the body‘s specific maladies. 

ANEMIA: is corrected by giving the iron water, (a solution that is 99.9% absorbed) along with Ferrum Phos, a Homeopathic that helps the body absorb the iron.  You either need to eliminate the parasites that cause the anemia or correct the liver which may also clear the root problem.  Liver and eggs and a hematinic, obtainable from a health food store, are also other nutritional sources of iron.

ARTHRITIS: If it is truly arthritis, Cetyl-myristoleate (our Artho-Flex product) will CURE IT, not just hold the pain and does not destroy the liver like the medications for arthritis presently being used.  This formula produces no adverse side affects.  Sometimes joint pain is caused from a toxic or sluggish liver because it cannot clean the blood as it should, leaving the waste in the blood to be deposited in joints and fatty tissue.  A common symptom of toxic or sluggish liver is chronic constipation, lameness, tenderness or general pain all over the body and unusual irritability.  We are seeing a lot of problems in horses today due to exposure to impure water, automatic fly sprays, pesticides and herbicides.  Household pets are becoming toxic from coat tar derivatives, flea dips, herbicides, pesticides and some household cleaners.  Toxins are removed from the body with Alpha-Lipoic Acid.  For arthritis, I use the combination of ARTHO-FLEX and NERVE AND USCLE PLUS to get them free of pain and back on their feet faster.  Sometimes I use one bottle of ARTHO-FLEX and then switch to the NERVE AND MUSCLE PLUS for maintenance.  The EQUINE ARTHO-FLEX works wonders for horses and other large animals.  In a matter of just a few days, most of them are moving better.  Seldom do they need more than one bottle to make them go sound again.  Remember, this “CURES THE ARTHRITIS”, not just holding the symptoms as pain killers do.

ASTHMA (CALLED HEAVES IN HORSES) is another immune deficient disease which is greatly relieved with the LUNG AND JOINT FORMULA.   It is safe, opening the lungs to prevent bleeding in running and gaming horses.  Use only when needed such as just before an event or if chronic, twice a day.  Add the IMMUNE formula slowly to avoid lung congestion since the lymph glands may also dump through the lungs as they are cleansing the body.  They will eventually adjust and the condition should  improve.

BLEEDERS such as race horses and VonWillenbrand’s disease in dogs, are easily controlled with Yunnan Paiyao, a Chinese herb designed to control bleeding until the victim can get medical assistance.  In most states, it is legal to use in race horses even when Lasix is not.

CALMERS:  At last, a safe and effective way to calm your pet.  Today’s pets face stress just as humans do, but now you have a natural means of dealing with it.  For thunderstorms, travel and fireworks, from behavior problems like aggression and shyness to the physical difficulties like pulled muscles, stress-related chewing, seizures and muscle spasms.  You can trust LOVE YOUR PETS CALMERS to give your pet relief.  Not a tranquilizer or sleep inducer like L-Tryptophan, but a natural blend of herbs, vitamins and minerals that ease physical tensions and soothe emotions. CANCER: Most forms of cancer are cleared with the basic CLEANSE AND REBUILD program.  We also recommend Oncolyn which shrinks tumors and treatment under the Rife machine, especially if it is liver, lung, bladder or bone cancer.  Adding Stabilized Oxygen will also help along with antioxidants as disease cannot live in an oxygen environment.  This will hasten the healing process and if they have at least 30 to 60 days to live, will can usually clear any form of cancer. 

CARDIOMYOPATHY AND MOST CORONARY IRREGULARITIES:  Since the liver repairs the heart, you must cleanse and rebuild the liver function with the LIVER/GALLBLADDER FORMULA while you use the HEART AND BLOOD VESSEL FORMULA to repair the heart, regulate heart rate, normalize blood pressure and cholesterol and clean out and repair the blood vessels.

CHRONIC CONSTIPATION AND DEPRESSION is usually caused by a congested liver and will correct when you restore the liver function with the LIVER/GALLBLADDER FORMULA.  Liver congestion also causes depression, so you can add the CALMERS to help with stress and depression while you clean and rebuild the liver.

CYSTITIS; is helped or cleared by the KIDNEY/BLADDER FORMULA along with Haines Apple Cider Vinegar to acidify the bladder, and Cranberry Concentrate (the pure juice obtained at the local health food store) which is very healing to the kidneys.  If it is a male cat with chronic blockage, it is best to have him rebuilt into a female. 

DIABETES is another Immune deficient problem that can be relieved, and the degenerative process can be stopped or turned around, but I have not been able to totally clear it.  It is improved to the point where the need for insulin is greatly reduced by rebuilding the immune system with the IMMUNE formula and stimulating the Pancreas with the DIGESTION formula.  Blood sugar is regulated with ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID and VanChroZin, (Vanadium to regulate blood sugar, Chromium to build muscles and Zinc, a natural antiviral nutrient, in a tasteless water solution) and Oat Bran which also regulates blood sugar and cholesterol.

CHRONIC YEAST AND EAR INFECTIONS:  Flush the ears with colloidal or Silver solution (the best one we have found is the Water Oz. brand), filling the ear canal and holding it there as long as the animal can tolerate it. This is a soothing and non-irritating method of treating ear problems.  Let them shake it out and then clean the ear canal with Q Tips.  This condition is found mostly in animals with a compromised immune system or drop eared dogs where the inside of the ear never gets a chance to get air to it to dry it out.  It makes a perfect breeding ground for bacterium and yeast.  Use daily for about three or four days and then only as needed (generally only about once a week), when they exhibit problems such as shaking the head and digging at the ears.  Occasionally you may need to do one or two applications of Nystatin cream or Panalog, but very rare.

ECLAMPSIA; is a condition where the mother animal starts shaking, maybe even to the point where she has convulsions.  This is a lack of calcium because the babies are stripping so much from her.  It is easily corrected by giving her liquid calcium which is quickly absorbed and can be prevented by giving plenty of calcium while pregnant.  During the last trimester of pregnancy, her need for calcium greatly increases because the baby’s bones are turning from cartilage to real bone.      

EOSINOPHILIC ENTERITIS; is a severe food allergy that expresses itself in chronic, mucousy, blood streaked stools and colon pain.  Find out what the food allergy is and avoid it until the Immune System is restored with the Immune formula.

EPN (EQUINE PROTOZOAN MYELITIS) is also an immune deficient disease caused, I believe, by over vaccination.  It can easily be corrected by cutting WAY back on vaccinations and feeding the IMMUNE and LIVER formulas to correct the system. 

HIP DYSPLASIA can be nearly eliminated with proper diet, even though the genetic predisposition is there.  Use the LOVE YOUR PET PUPPY VITAMINS starting prenatal through to adulthood in the puppy.  We also find that by adding the IMMUNE formula prenatal, the puppies are nearly worm free and very precocious, doing things at 3 weeks that are not normally accomplished until 5 weeks. They remain much healthier and milder in temperament too. It is important to keep the mother and pups on cloth where they can get their feet under them when nursing or moving about in the whelping box.  Paper or slippery surfaces causes them to splay out behind, putting stress on the developing hips.  Hip Dysplasia is a wearing away of the head of the femur or they develop very shallow sockets, not just dislocated as many vets will tell you is also dysplasia.  Once it occurs, it can’t be corrected but they can still live full, productive lives when treated correctly.  We have found that the NERVE AND MUSCLE formula along with a good healthy high quality protein diet, extra vitamin C, the Immune formula, the LOVE YOUR PETS SENIOR VITAMINS, some glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate with MSM to reduce inflammation and build connective tissue, will nutritionally support and strengthen them.  Acupuncture may also give them more relief.  It is important to keep the muscles strong to hold the bones in the socket, so keep them exercising.  The looser the muscles, the greater the rubbing and wear on the bones.  I know that nutrition plays a great part in this as I bred grade 3 dysplasic bitches to males with heavy dysplastic lines, using the components incorporated in the LOVE YOUR PET PUPPY VITAMINS and came up with the best hips I had ever had in all the breeding I did with my German Shepherds. 

HYPO-THYROID (UNDERACTIVE THYROID) is easily corrected with the IMMUNE formula.  It takes about three months on this formula to do so.

INCONTINENCE IN SPAYED DOGS:  Female dogs often have a problem of “leaking” when they sleep because their hormone level is so low.  They are often given Winstrol, but we have also found that they are improved with 1 FEMALE BALANCER, a natural hormone supplement, and by adding the KIDNEY/BLADDER formula, along with acupuncture to strengthen the sphincter muscle. Sometimes the Female Balancer will do it all by itself. 

MASTITIS: If it is only affecting a few of the teats, then tape off the infected ones and put her on antibiotics, letting the pups nurse on the good teats.  Since they will get some of the antibiotics, you should give them some acidophilus to restore the good bacteria needed for digestion as they grow.  It is easily tested.  If you notice smelly stools from the pups which the mother hesitates to clean, then take a clean glass, squeezing some of the milk from each teat on the side of the glass.  If it spreads out evenly, then it is clear, but if it clumps up and doesn’t want to run down the side of the glass, it is probably infected.  Have the vet check it, but since it only affects the individual teat, then you don’t need to remove the pups from the healthy ones.  Removing them from the mother creates great stress for her and babies, creating other problems so leave them together if possible.   

PARVO; since this disease is a virus that is attacking the intestinal walls, causing them to bleed, use the Herbal Extract to kill it.  Then give YUNNAN PAIYAO and the Homeopathic Arnica (to stop internal bleeding) and INTESTINAL BALANCER (to promote healing to the intestines.  Give it every couple of hours, on the tongue and add pediolytes or Gatorade to their water to prevent dehydration. IV’s should contain electrolytes with the extra support of Vitamin C and B.   

CHRONIC SKIN PROBLEMS AND MANGE (SARCOPTIC OR DEMODECTIC)

This is another immune deficient disease and will not be corrected until the Immune System is rebuilt, which will take several months.  They didn’t get into this condition overnight and you won’t correct it overnight.  This is corrected with the IMMUNE formula.  The demodectic mange mite lives on the dog, in the hair follicle pores, posing no problem to the animals as long as the immune system is healthy, but goes wild if it is not.  It causes severe itching problems.  Even though you take a skin scrape, you will usually find nothing, but they are still there.  We find this form of mange on dogs that have been under great stress or fed protein poor diets, often leaving bare spots around the muzzle and eyes.  Vitamin B 12 and a good diet help, but you must stop the itching to give them immediate relief while you rebuild the immune system.  This is done by giving a shot of Ivermectin to kill the mites wherever they are found on the body, whether Demodectic or Sarcoptic, and soothing the skin with Silver water, Aloe Vera or Tea Tree Oil.  This helps kill bacteria on the skin and soothe the soreness.  Don’t use all those terrible, toxic chemical dips.  They are not necessary and just burn the skin and irritate them even more as well as being very toxic to you and the animal. It takes days of dipping to kill these mites whereas the shot corrects it immediately.   Do not use any form of Cortisone or Prednisilone, (another form of Cortisone,) as it lops off the itching symptoms, allows the mites to really multiply and makes the itching even worse once it wears off.  It is correctable, but only as you rebuild the immune system and stop over vaccinating. Whenever the immune system is compromised, they can no longer throw off any kind of parasites, even heartworms.  They just keep coming back until the immune system is restored.

STROKES AND HEART ATTACKS: are very treatable in animals, especially dogs.  When having a stroke, the eyes will twitch in opposite directions at the same time, one upward and the other downward.  They try to get up, but can’t stand, especially showing weakness on one side.  The head usually tilts to one side or twists to where they have to eat from the side of their mouths.  Sometimes if it is bad enough, they can no longer eat or drink.  You will need to give cortisone or something to reduce the swelling in the brain while also giving Yunnan Paiyao to stop the bleeding from the broken blood vessels in the brain.  If they are also suffering from a heart attack, you can hear it with a stethoscope (it is more than an irregular heart beat which is common to all dogs), and they will often vomit quite violently, just like people often do.  When that is stopped, then use the HEART AND BLOOD VESSEL FORMULA to regulate heart rate and help repair blood vessels, The Yunnan Paiyao at least twice a day for a few days to control the bleeding and the Nerve and Muscle to restore damaged nerves.  You may have to use a meat baster to give them liquids.  Hold the head back and slowly pour liquid and soft food into the corner of the mouth.  They can swallow it that way.  Acupuncture will also restore mobility.  You may have to help them to their feet and support them while they urinate and defecate, but they do come back.  I’ve had it happen to three of my older dogs that have recovered, one in 5 days, one in two days and the other took three months.  I keep them on this regimen permanently.  Two HBV, 3 or 4 N & M, twice a day and one Liver pill per day.

                                CARING FOR THE ELDERLY ANIMAL:

Most dogs get fat as they get older and less active.  Giving them one Lecithin capsule and some flax seed oil, will reduce the fat in the blood stream. It is also natural for them to get stiff, have difficulty getting up and walking.  This is normal.  It doesn’t mean they are sick, so running to the vet for all kinds of tests, isn’t going to change the aging process.  I find that putting them on the Nerve and Muscle or the Nerve and Muscle Plus which also addresses arthritis pain, usually gets them back on their feet and much stronger.  Just support them with love and good nutrition, but don’t put them down because they are exhibiting some old age syndromes.
